KIM Kardashian is reportedly skipping this year’s Paris Fashion Week because it’s still too raw to return to the city where she was robbed at gunpoint.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, 36, had been attending Paris Fashion Week last year when she was bound and gagged, locked in a bathroom, and robbed of millions of pounds worth of jewellery during an armed heist.
According to reports from the US, the reality star is avoiding this year’s catwalks in the French capital because the memories from her ordeal are still too fresh.
Us Weekly reports that Kim isn’t the only family member giving Paris Fashion Week a miss – her model sister Kendall Jenner, 21, will also be a no-show.
However, the magazine says the eldest Kardashian sister Kourtney, 38, will fly to Paris as planned for the runways.
A source told Radar Online: “Kim will most likely not be returning to Paris for a very, very long time.
“[She is] still dealing with the trauma [of the robbery].”
Kim was left physically unharmed but badly shaken when a gang of armed, masked men broke into her luxury flat in October 2016.
She had a gun pointed at her, before her mouth was duct taped and her hands were tied together.
After locking Kim in a bathroom, the men ransacked her valuables.
More than £9 million worth of jewellery is believed to have been stolen – including a £5 million jewellery box and one ring worth £3.5 million.
The heist was France’s biggest jewellery theft involving a private citizen in more than two decades.
The aftermath of the robbery left the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star unable to sleep without security guards and she no longer wears jewellery.
Kim later said the experience had made her less materialistic and vowed she would not flaunt her wealth or belongings on social media.
She told the Ellen DeGeneres Show in April: “I know this sounds crazy but I know that was meant to happen to me.
“And I don’t want to start crying but, I feel like that was so meant to happen to me, like I’m such a different person.”
Kim added: “It was probably no secret, you see it on the show, me being flashy, but I was definitely materialistic before – not that there’s anything bad about having things and working hard to get those things.
“I’m really proud of everyone that’s around me that’s successful.
“But I’m so happy that my kids get this me. And that this is who is raising my kids.
“Because I just don’t care about that stuff anymore, I really don’t.”
Kim, who has daughter North, four, and son Saint, one, with husband Kanye West, and a third child on the way, has also spoken candidly on Keeping Up With The Kardashians about the ordeal.
In an episode which aired in March, she told her family how she feared she’d be killed or raped by one of the robbers after he pulled a gun on her.

“He grabs my legs, and I wasn’t, you know, I had no clothes on under. He pulled me toward him at the front of the bed and I thought, ‘Okay, this is the moment they’re going to rape me’,” she said.
“I fully mentally prepped myself – and then he didn’t.
“He duct taped my legs together and had the gun up to me.
“I knew that was the moment they’re just totally going to shoot me in the head.
“I just prayed that Kourtney’s going to have a normal life after she sees my dead body on the bed…like, I’m not going to make it out of here. I know how these things go.”
Kim also revealed how the hotel’s concierge had been forced to bring the thugs up to her room, and that she pleaded with them to tell the robbers she had babies and a family.
She said: “I just said ‘Are we going to die?’ They can’t understand me, but please tell them I have babies, I have a family, let me live.”
After she had pointed the thieves to her $3.5 million ring they demanded money.
Kim said she told them: “I said I don’t have money. They dragged me out to the hallway on top of the stairs. That’s when I saw the gun clear as day.
“I was looking at the gun, looking at the stairs, thinking either they’re going to shoot me in the back, or if I make it and they don’t, if the elevator doesn’t make it in time or the stairs are locked then I’m like f***ed.
“There’s no way out.”
