KAIA Gerber led the fashion pack in a spectacular catwalk show on the ‘beach’ for Chanel’s SS19 collection today.
Karl Lagerfeld pulled out all the stops for the penultimate day of Paris Fashion Week, transforming The Grand Palais des Champs-Élysées into a sandy beach complete with a boardwalk, lifeguard’s chair, panoramic blue sky views and a real shoreline with real waves.

Models frolicked in the sea and got their toes sandy – with a Cindy Crawford’s daughter Kaia and Brit model Adwoa Aboah as the stars of the show.
Dressed in a crisp white cropped shirt, black jeans and CHANEL logo belt, Cindy Crawford’s 17-year-old daughter certainly stood out in a sea of sun hats.
In keeping with the theme, Baywatch babe Pamela Anderson took to the FROW, as Karl took to the pier to enjoy the show.
Poppy Delevingne, Vanessa Paradis, Pharrell Williams and Helen Lasichanh were also in the crowds.

The high-end label were clearly keen to show the fun side of fashion, with models holding hands, skipping and laughing as they walked across the beach.
Chunky jewellery, preppy jackets and even Karl-inspired fingerless gloves characterised the show.

Chanel’s signature bags were worn as necklaces – while models donned caps and sun hats emblazoned with the logo.
This was Kaia’s third catwalk under Karl’s watch, after the pair recently collaborated on a clothing collection together.
